Special holidays
In this post, I´m going to write about my favorite holiday, the New Year, but specifically in Valparaíso, my city. The New Year at sea, is beautiful, with fireworks bursting all over the coast, from Valparaíso to Con Con. All people from the hills and the coast look the fireworks and the shows. At these holidays I usually go to my aunt´s house on the hill Placeres, along with my grandparents, my parents, my sistes and my brother, in addition to my uncles and cousins. We like to dinner and then while watching fireworks we do the rituals for luck, like eating the grapes of the spoonfuls of lentils. The New Year follows in the center, where the streets close and people walk, party and meet friends, also his family. After twelve o´clock, about one o´clock in the morning, we have a tradition of walking down and meet with friends, at the moment we split up and we´re going to party separately.
